More photos of Phuket!!

Here are more photos of our trip to Phuket. The elephant you see is named "Sinchai" and it became quite attached to my wife. So, when we were about to leave, it began to get restless and the mahout had to restrain it! Sandra sure looks groovy in the red helmet!!!

Some photos of our trip to Phuket, Thailand

My wife and I had the rare opportunity to get some time together last December. So, we decided to chill out at Phuket, Thailand! It was a wonderful getaway but somehow, we missed our two sons very much once we were in Phuket. Must admit that things are a little pricey though! Thought I could get some cool bargains but it turned out otherwise! Anyway, it was a good trip! Here are some photos of that trip!

My MA Convocation

11 August 2008 - My convocation. I obtained my Master of Arts in English Language Studies majoring in Applied Linguistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor. My wife, Sandra and eldest son, Edward were with me at the ceremony. We left home at 7.00 am and were in UKM by 7.30 am. The other members of the family were unable to make it cos it was a working day! Don't worry guys!! I UNDERSTAND!!!! Anyway, it was truly a joyous and momentous occasion for me and my family! After all the hard work, I've finally graduated!! My hearfelt thanks to my wife, sons and mother-in-law for all the support and encouragement! My mum and family members also deserve special mention! U guys were a real help! And not forgetting my professors in UKM too especially Dr. Jamilah (better known as Dr. Jamie). Here are some photos I would like to share with you all! Regards and love to all of you!

Mum's Birthday Bash

The evening started off at 7.45 p.m. and went on till midnite! The food was marvellous and so were the line-up of events for the nite! My son, Edward was the MC for the nite! Lil bro, Thomas started off with the opening prayer which was then followed up by my welcome speech. Had lots written about my mum but couldn't deliver cos I was getting emotional and choking! So, I decided to cut it short, I mean, real short!!! It was a really enjoyable and unforgettable evening cos there were so many interesting events lined up. All the events presented were 'classics' in their own special ways. One thing was for sure, no one felt bored cos they were laughing their pants off!! They included a 'magic' show by Ben, Vijay and Viven, a CSI Malaysia sketch by my nephews, a dance number by my nieces with their Uncle Joy, a BEST Dressed Male and Female competition, a guitar performance by my sons, Edward and Melvin and the highlight of the day was of course the dance performance by the PUSSY CAT Mums, who danced away to the tune of SWAY!!! Thank you everyone for a wonderful evening of pure fun and laughter!!

Mum's 70th Birthday Bash!!

Saturday, 26 July 2008 will be a day most of my family members will never forget! It was our mum's 70th birthday bash at Everly Resort Hotel, Melaka. Almost every family member turned up (with the exception of Renu, Rueben, Murthy, Leena and Patrick) and it turned out to be a great nite! Here's the birthday girl, my dearest mum, Madam Rosey Joseph, in all her splendour!! She's being wheeled into the hall by my lil' brother, Thomas aka Roy. The guy in the striped shirt is Suren, my nephew. The other guy wearing the black coat is Pravin, my nephew.

Kimberly and Arthur Seakhoa King Junior

Here are photos of Kimberly and Arthur Junior (from the UK) when they were down in Malaysia in March 2007. They are Auntie Shir's and Uncle Arthur's cute children. Lil' Kim was really excited when she first met all of us and never had any problems getting along with us! As for Arthur Junior, we fondly called him AJ or 'Anggu baby'!! He loved the taxi rides with Prakash, the taxi driver, whenever he visited people and places.

Auntie Jack and Family

My boys love their Auntie Jack and Uncle Jake and their two handsome boys, Julian and Jermaine! They can always depend on them to shower them with great gifts, come birthdays and X'mas!! Uncle Jake bought Ed his first guitar and also his subsequent electric guitar (a great Gibson Les Paul look alike) and as such will get a definite mention when Ed goes up on stage to get his Grammy Award! Now you know why I said they were 'generous'!!

Ed's Confirmation!!

Here's a photo of Ed and his godparents, Dr Nathan and Auntie Amy. They are the driving force behind his spiritual development, constantly reminding him of his 'Godly' duties and responsibilities. Great choice!! Definitely the best candidates!!
